about me & background information
I live in Göteborg on the west-coast of Sweden with my girlfriend Karin and I spend my days as an agency producer (really a sort of technical project manager) for web projects with the advertising agency Forsman & Bodenfors.
I have been interested in images and photography since I were a teenager doing some photography here and there sporadically. But it was with the advent of digital technology and cameras that sparked the somewhat dormant interest. And when i got a digital camera for my 30th birthday it really got going.
Since then a lot of things have happened. I reached the limits of my first camera within a year. Bought my first DSLR and started to get my head around the technical side of the craft; exposure, optics and things like that. Started to experiment with some new lenses and anxiously begun shooting with inexperienced models on a TFP basis. I became curious about lighting and became a Strobist disciple in 2006 and in the same year I co-founded the studio collective RAW Studios and got access to a studio with professional gear as well as some kick-ass photo buddies.
about my photography
When it comes to my photography I don't think I can pin down neither a subject matter nor a style that defines me. Maybe that is something the future holds for me. However; if you take the time to browse through my images you'll find images of things that I find interesting: People. Music. Some street photography. Quirky stuff I found somewhere. Landscapes from Göteborg or from my travels. I guess this place is not as much a portfolio, but more of a phot album or a digital wall where I nail up some cherished pieces for you to see. Maybe you love it. Maybe you don't.
